Hey all, I just wanted to let anyone who plans on riding up to Virginia City and back that there is a section of the highway that they were doing some ditch cleaning on and there is quite a bit of dirt and what not on the road. It is mainly in the lane heading towards Reno, between the top of the hill and the long straight section. The rest of the road seamed ok. There were loads of Story County Sheriffs out when I went through, including an undercover dark grey Ford SUV.

The Royal Bastards Scooter Club will be holding its annual Tahoe Rally, Blazing Saddles II over the July 11->13 weekend. Campout and major meeting point is Camp Richardson. See their web site for all the details. Not totally sure if they welcome sport bikes, but *any* type of scooter can do the ride around the Lake, even a 50cc Ruckus! (You might have an adventure getting up there, but it's doable!).

this will sound a bit stupid but I admit that I shouldn't have done it, anyway at work we got couple guys with a BIG mouth, the have this stupid WRX and Lancer, they always trying to get me to race them, but I'm like whatever ...you will lose !!!, yesterday after work arond 11.45 pm , I was in the freeway going home, the guy withh WRX, start F***g with me so I was like let 's do it, the first time smookkkked his ass, the second time , he did cuz it was a car front of me so I had to slow down ...

Hey guys n girls. I just wanted to let you all know there are a few poker runs happening on Saturday.

There is one called Saints n Sinners that starts at the Tammarack Junction casino in south Reno at 10am. All proceeds from it go to help poor kids pay tuition at Bishop Manogue High School. I belive this is the 2nd year for this one. Not sure of route. It is $20per rider $5 per passenger.

The Reno Elks Lodge is having their Red, White and Blue poker run. This ride starts at the Elks ...

Hey folks. On Sunday June 22 Triumph Reno has a ride departing Triumph Reno at 9am and the intersection of Kingsbury Grade, Hwy 207, and Foothill Road at 10am(for those of you in Carson/Minden area). The ride is over Hwy 88 to Mormon Emigrant Trail to Fairplay for lunch. Back Omo Ranch Road to Hwy 88 and return. About 200 miles, elevation changes, lots of sweeping turns. I got this info from the Triumph ride calendar.

Street Kings 1st annual Poker Run and BBQ

Hey guys. The Street Kings are having a poker run and BBQ this Saturday 6-14-08. It starts at Cottonwood Park in Sparks. Sign-ups are from 10am to Noon. The ride goes through VC and Carson then back into Reno. It is around 100 miles according to the guy I talked to. To get to Cottonwood Park you take I-80 East to McCarran. Right on McCarran. Left on Greg St. Right on Spice Islands Drive. The park is on Spice Islands Drive by the river.

OMG I put a different set of tires on my bike and it changed the hole handling of my bike, but i love it.... I had the Qualifier, now I'm runing Michelin Race tires , the bike feels totaly different .

It was about 10:30 pm; I was going 105 mph on 65 freeway 'coz I'm in hurry to go home.He doesn't have his lights on..just saw the reflective sticker when I passed his car...I tried to exit right away on Keystone but there was a Red light.I stopped... and there he was behind me.When the stoplight turned Green, turned on "his colorful lights" and finally He caught me and pulled me over....

this is a brand new right side bracket for the footpeg/ brake lever . ordered parts online for my bike and got wrong parts and they want a 30% restocking fee so make me an offer on it. brand new i think they go for $70.

How often do you guys lube your chain?

I've notice that my chain has been looking nasty lately. I have been cleaning 'em and lubing them pretty much every other week. I am starting to think the seals are gone. Meaning they become very dry looking after awhile, like its never been lube.

Looking for a 2001 or newer fairing for a 1200 Bandit.

I had a few errands to run today. I knew it was suppose to be cloudy but 67 degrees out, so not bad. Took off from my house in Spanish Springs and headed into town. As soon as I hit Pyramid I knew I should have put my liner back in due to the cold. I pressed on. I got to Pyramid and Highland Ranch and got a few droplets. It just got worse from there until I was pretty drenched. I turned around and took the bike home.

Shirt was drenched thru my jacket and jeans pretty damp.

Anyone else get ...
